By bus: If you travel to Florianópolis by bus, you will arrive at Rita Maria Bus Station, which is located in the center of the city. Arriving at the bus station, you can walk to the urban bus station of the city, which is called TICEN. From TICEN you can go to the different districts of the city. The bus terminal TICEN is located in the same street as Rita Maria Bus Station (in a walking distance of 5 minutes). The main neighbourhoods of the city have an urban bus terminal (the urban bus station of the center in called TICEN, the urban bus station of Lagoa da Conceição neighbourhood is called TILAG, etc.)
By plane: The airport of Florianópolis, which is called Hercílio Luz Airport, is located in a distance of 11 km from the center of the city. It is the destination of different flights from all over Brazil. You can take the Executive Bus (also known as “Amarelinhos”), the Conventional Bus (Bus Line 183 - Corredor Sudoeste) or a taxi to get from the airport to the center or other districts of the city.
